From a loose confederation of friends past came about the Telling Times Partnership, each of the founder members united in the belief that history really does matter. All involved are artists in their own disciplines with the intention, through the platform of Telling Times and the medium of the performing arts, to both entertain and inform the broader community. Between us we have a wealth of experience, ability and talent, through which we intend to use music, drama and the written word to keep our history and traditions alive. A bold mission perhaps but a sincere one and we hope an enjoyable one. Artistic Approach Both our music and drama is based upon our varied traditions. That is to say that we will happily adventure into uncharted territory, both musically and dramatically, embracing the best of new innovations in order to blend them with tradition and interpret them artistically. As stated elsewhere on this website, Telling Times Partnership is about celebrating, promoting and maintaining the artistic heritage of the British Isles. Indeed, the founder members represent all four corners of these Isles, although we would very much welcome stronger representation from Wales because, as yet, none us is in any way qualified to do justice to the artistic traditions of Wales.
